1. With 10 staff from Mukdahan, Bangkok and PhangNga as well as Dr. Richard from Siam-Care UK we joined the wedding of our Phang Nga project manager Netima with her Anon. A lovely celebration!

2. At this half year point in 2010 we would like to recognise the many sponsors who make our work possible. This first half year has been a difficult one with the Pound and the Euro dropping 20% in value, but thanks to the prayers, fundraising efforts by friends and long-term faithful sponsors of Siam-Care we have been able to continue our work and reach out to the many families in need. Thank you to the many who helped. Here's our friend of many years Alan T who ran the London marathon for Siam-Care!

3. Many volunteers come through Siam-Care, here's a letter from one of them:

May God continue to bless you abundantly and those you so graciously help. I will remember fondly my meeting you and all the wonderful people that help Siam Care. After my observing the board, the director, the Bangkok staff, the Mukdahan trip and family visits, combined with my Bangkok family visits I see more clearly the Christian mission of Siam Care. I have gained a better understanding of  how much graditude that vital work brings into the lives of so many people. The most incredible thing happens when Siam Care people arrive for a family visit. There is happiness and smiles from people in dire need, especially the children. People who (it may seem to some) have little to smile for. They are so full of love and appreciation it's overwhelmingly heart warming for me.  Siam Care, with you and all the people involved, is now helping me gain a better perspective on my life. This is an unexpected blessing that I can take with me to America.

God bless and take care.

Dale
